INTRODUCTION

Outsourcing has become increasingly appealing in both accounting and non-accounting services in recent years. The availability of online services has enabled outsourcing services to provide a more secured services, efficient, user-friendly and cost effective software (Daley, 2008). In the US, as the number of degrees awarded to accounting major in 1999 has decreased by 20% from 1996, the cost of recruiting new accounting staff has also rise (Robertson et al, 2005). At the same time, the number of candidates sitting for CPA exams has been declining since 1993 (Robertson et al, 2005).

Abstract: Emotional intelligence  represent ability feel, comprehending, and selectively apply energy and sensitivity of emotion as source of influence Intelligence of emotion claim owner of feeling, to learn to confess, esteeming feeling at the others and also answering it correctly, applying effectively emotion energy in everyday life. This study examines the relationship between Emotional intelligence and Work Stress of lecturer at Economic Faculty of UNSYIAH. The population of this research is all lecturers at Economic Faculty of UNSYIAH. The sample was taken by Purposive sampling technique with criteria respondents have structural position the data were collected by using questionnaires. Data analysis to test hypothesis is done with simple linear regression. This research results shows that Emotional intelligence had significantly effect on Work Stress of lecturer at Economic Faculty of UNSYIAH. Result of this research can give contribution that Emotional intelligence is important intelligence among educator accountant in upgrading education.

HOW BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE SYSTEM DOES PROVIDES VALUE ADDED FOR FIRM PERFORMANCE

Abstract: The aim of study is attempt to explain the Business Intelligence (BI) system in order to provide the ability to analyze business information and supported management decision. Specifically BI is looked as strategic information systems. It is an integral part of the establishment of a decision-support system providing information to decision makers. There are three important factors that provide strategic decision, consist of internal strategy, costumer relation management and interpreting weak sign system. This study consider to use the Value Added efficiency of  the firm that has developed by Ante Pulic (1998) to measure firm value, that cause of it may not be appropriate to use accounting measures when measuring the business performance of a transactional information system tool or a typical decision support system (DSS). Based on the literature review, in today’s revolutions in information technology (IT) BI system has needed and provides firm value added.

Abstract: To cultivate a knowledge-rich society in Malaysia and take the country into the Information Age, the Malaysian Government embarked upon the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) initiative in 1996 and Malaysian government has initiated Electronic Government with a primary aim of to create a virtually paperless administration, with an eye towards the widespread use of electronic and multimedia networks in the Government. The electronic procurement system, better known as ePerolehan or eProcument by Malaysian government is a focus of this study to represent one of MIS used by the government. ePerolehan streamlines government procurement activities that hopes to improves the quality of service it provides. ePerolehan converts traditional manual procurement processes in the Government to electronic procurement on the Internet. Close co-operation with the users lead to good systems analysis and design allowing software developers to gain an understanding of the user requirements. However an organizational culture that bounding an organization and in this case the Malaysian government might also have an implication in understanding the users requirement and thus the designing of the required system. Therefore the objective of this study is to describe the relationship between organizational culture of Malaysian government agencies and the design of ePerolehan system in order for the system to run successfully in meeting its objectives and at the same time are able to meet the needs of all users.
